C’était l’été, au-dessus de Chamonix, le soleil frappait sur les vitres du petit train rouge qui suit la montagne, et la chaleur augmentait dans la cabine du téléphérique. Dehors, la luminosité éblouissait mes yeux à mesure que je descendais de raides marches métalliques. Claquant derrière la masse de touristes qui s’engouffrait dans le coeur de la Mer de Glace, j’entendais mes petits pas avancer vers la grotte.C’était une grotte dans laquelle j’allais à reculons, suivant l’avancée saccadée du monde et des gens, conscient de faire partie d’un problème plus grand, plus fort, un problème global. J’ai déambulé frénétiquement dans les tunnels froids, les dédales de glaces, de reflets et de lumière, captivé. A l’extérieur, des bâches blanches et maigres sont étendues sur le glacier, pour ralentir l’inéluctable, pour préserver encore le prix des tickets d’entrée et ne pas rompre l'affluence. Paysage dystopique et beauté subtile en même temps, la grotte de la Mer de Glace est un tombeau en train de se faire. Dans cette rue raide, les riverains déposent tout au long du trottoir qui longe le petit parc, des déchets, du mobilier, des gravas, des objets, des encombrants. Ce jour-là, au milieu d’un matelas, de vêtements éventrés, d’une commode désossée et de cabas de supermarché remplis de livres d’enfants, des rétroviseurs jonchaient le sol, renvoyant chacun une image différente de leur reflet présumé. Ni la rue ni les rebus, ni mon ombre essouflée n’apparaissaient dans les miroirs. Des images d’ailleurs y restaient figées. Photographies, impression jet d’encre sur papier transparent, contre-collage sur verre. BNP Paribas, RATP Solutions, Apsys, Les Arches Cityoennes - Plateau Urbain. Les médaillons des Arches est une installation photographique. Elle occupe 10 éléments architecturaux laissés vacants par l’AP-HP, ancien usager du bâtiment occupé par la coopérative Plateau Urbain jusqu’en septembre 2024, avec le programme des Arches Citoyennes. L’installation est constituée de photographies transférées sur du verre. Les prises de vue ont été effectuées à l’intérieur du bâtiment des Arches Citoyennes. Cette technique de transfert pousse la photographie vers la peinture et l’abstraction, en altérant l’adhésion de l’encre sur son support. L’encre de l’imprimante se dissout, coule, se mélange et fait disparaître l’image d’origine par la matière même de la technique d’impression. La photographie joue contre elle-même ou dans un autre espace de matérialité. Cette création travaille le concept d’image-invisible décrit par Michel Poivert dans Flou, Une histoire photographique, les images ici ne cherchent pas à représenter. Participative - Auto-financée - Redistributive no show a été organisée en 2021-2022. Elle proposait d'exposer chez soi des créations de Jean-Daniel Pellen, pendant un an. - Tout le monde pouvait participer à l'exposition en devenant exposant·e, en choisissant ce qu’iels aimaient, voulaient, pour l’installer dans leur espace privé. - Les espaces accueillant des œuvres pour no show ont ouvert au public en 2021-22, tous en même temps et gratuitement. Nos espaces intimes et d'habitation devenaient - pour certain·e·s - paradoxalement insoutenables, invivables, anxiogènes, alors qu'ils étaient sensés être un refuge. Avant les décisions politiques qui nous ont bloqués chez nous et qui ont fermé les lieux publics, j'étais en train de préparer une exposition qui faisait le chemin inverse : l'art s'installant chez les gens, le public se déplaçant dans la sphère privée pour découvrir quelques œuvres, l'exposition existant à chaque invitation fortuite. no show n'est pas une réponse à l'actualité, mais elle en parle malgré-elle : comment habite-t-on nos espaces, jusqu'à quelle limite sont-ils ouvrables, comment souhaite-t-on les faire vivre, quel intérêt l'art peut-il avoir quand il est confiné dans un espace privé ? Modifier les accès et les systèmes de production traditionnels de l'exposition ont-il un sens dans ce contexte ? Je n'ai pas spécialement de discours figé entre ma proposition et ce qui se déroule depuis le début de la pandémie de 2020. J'ai simplement l'intuition que cela fait écho à nos expériences, que cela peut résonner en nous, que no show s'immisce dans la période autant que la période façonne no show. <img width="1795" Tirage lambda sur papier Haute Réflexion, Fujiflex. Contrecollage sur dibond. Démarrée en 2016, la série de photographies Tastres représente des fonds de tasses de café abandonnées. Elle capte un moment transitoire, voué à disparaître au nettoyage. Cette attention à ces formes abstraites rappelle la Cafédomancie, l’art de lire l’avenir ou d’autres mystères dans le marc de café. Ces photographies tendent à créer un doute sur le sujet photographié, elles portent la tasse dans un autre registre de visibilité, oscillant entre l’astronomique et le microscopique, deux régimes du réel inacessibles à l’oeil nu et en cela invisibles. À travers cette matière et ces effets lumineux, la photographie laisse sa place à l’interprétation et aux associations d’images. Chaque tastre renvoie ainsi à un autre champ visuel, à des espaces ou des domaines autres, en jouant avec la mimêsis, le processus de représentation traditionnelle. Le titre de chaque tastre indique la position du soleil lors de la prise de vue (Azimut et Elevation): date, heure, situation géographique. récupérés sur internet, imprimés puis transformés pendant la numérisation. J’effectue des recherches sur les gens puissants qui décident, dirigent et influencent le fonctionnement du monde, avec un impact direct sur la vie et l’existence des êtres humains. Je cherche leurs portraits sur internet, je les imprime et les numérise. Pendant le passage de la lumière et du miroir sous la vitre du scanner, je manipule leur image pour créer des erreurs et des aberrations en froissant, compactant, pivotant ou agitant le papier. Distortions, répétitions, liquéfactions, étirements ou écrasements, mes actions défigurent ces personnes de pouvoir, comme des caricatures issues des moyens technologiques contemporains. Le portrait devient une matière que je façonne manuellement pendant le temps du processus de numérisation. La série Les Puissants se réapproprie symboliquement et physiquement l’apparence de celleux qui forment le monde à leur image, qui contrôlent leur présence médiatique, politique et institutionnelle. Image contre image, cette captation en mouvement tente d’inverser l’équilibre de la domination et matérialise. Même si elle reste fixe, figée par le scanner, la figure des puissant·e·s se révèle instable, vacillante, jusqu’à l’invisibilité. Elle apparaît ou disparaît au gré des anomalies et des déformations, jusqu’à devenir méconnaissable, sorte de plongée dans l’abîme de leur propre représentation. Comme un carnaval intime, les actions réalisées sur ces portraits répondent à un cri intérieur, un cri dérisoire, parfois ironique, parfois glaçant, cherchant à se jouer des piédestals et des «servitudes volontaires» (La Boétie, 1576). Cette série est conçue comme un matériel militant potentiel: en accès libre, chacun·e peut se l’approprier, la transformer, la diffuser. Des éditions au format carte de visite ont été vendues pour soutenir les caisses de grève en 2019/2020. Prises de vue :&nbsp; «L’amnésie infantile désigne l’absence (avant deux ans), puis la relative pauvreté (jusqu’à six ans), des souvenirs relatifs aux premières années de la vie». Patrick Perret définit ainsi ce phénomène d’oubli des souvenirs de notre prime enfance dans un article publié en 2011 dans Devenir. Il rappelle également qu’il touche essentiellement la mémoire épisodique. Les souvenirs autobiographiques, la chronologie, les contextes et les événements vécus partent dans l’abime de la mémoire. L’amnésie infantile touche tout le monde, notre existence et nos perceptions se construisent autant à partir de l’oubli que du souvenir. Plus que la remémoration, j’ai toujours été sensible aux sensations produites par la disparition de la mémoire : ce vide qui nous saisi, ce trou noir dont on sait qu’il contient quelque chose mais qu’on peine à approcher. Il y a un vertige de l’oubli, intérieur et indicible. Les traces laissées par ce qui nous quitte et nous échappe m’intéressent plus que la preuve d’un événement. Cette série de photographies transférées sur des plaques de verre utilise des photos de mon fils prises pendant sa période d’amnésie infantile, avant ses quatre ans. L’encre de l’imprimante, qui n’adhère pas à la surface, perle, dégouline, s’accroche fébrilement. Ce transfert rend compte de la fragilité de l’image, du souvenirs et de l’existence, il tire la photographie vers la peinture et l’abstraction, un seuil limite entre l’apparition et la disparition. L’événement vécu et le figuratif disparaissent sous une matière qui efface ce qu’elle est censée représenter. Ces souvenirs d’enfance s’éloignent, s’imprécisent, pour ne transmettre qu’une sensation instable, mélancolique, une incertitude sur l’origine et le contenu de l’image. Viens mais ne viens pas quand je serai seule, exposition collective, Galerie Ygrec, Les Grands Voisins - ancien hôpital Saint-Vincent de Paul.Commissariat: Théo Robin-Langlois Cette installation in-situ se déploie autour d’un bâtiment désaffecté de l’ancien hôpital Saint Vincent de Paul à Paris, aux Grands Voisins. L’hôpital n’accueille plus de patients et le public n’est pas autorisé à entrer dans les étages, seuls points de départ de ces lignes qui traversent les fenêtres. Utilisant des bandes Velpeau cousues entre elles, ce matériel médical passe de l’intérieur à l’extérieur, s’arrime aux mobiliers urbains pour tenir et revenir vers le bâtiment, comme un tracé sans levé de crayons, un fil sans coupures. Le doute sur l’origine et la signification de cette présence insolite, le rappel du temps révolu de l’hôpital et de ses usagers, l’évocation d’une activité cachée dans le reste du bâtiment, produisent un sentiment d’étrangeté, sinon d’inquiétude. Zéro de conduite fait énigme, avec une légèreté apparente du dispositif : flottant au vent silencieusement les bandes accrochent désespérément le corps du bâtiment comme un bateau au port. Lâches, courbées sous leur propre poids, elles s’affaissent progressivement avec le temps, s’alourdissent mollement, attendent dans le vide. Le titre prend sa source dans l’œuvre cinématographique de Jean Vigo, évoquant une possible rébellion, un jeu des derniers patients ou personnels de l’hôpital. Il rappelle le caractère concentrationnaire et disciplinaire de l’institution hospitalière, les liens tissés vers l’extérieur, comme les mythiques draps noués pour s’évader d’une prison, sont un appel. Indiscipliné, Zéro de conduite manifeste un dernier geste vital et dérisoire dans les parties abandonnées de l’hôpital, comme un dernier cri avant la destruction totale du bâtiment, un dernier cri avant la mort.
